Dr Iqra Ashraf

Dr Iqra Ashraf is a Consultant Dermatologist dedicated to providing expert, compassionate and personalised care for patients with a wide range of skin, hair and scalp conditions. She is passionate about dermatology and the important role healthy skin plays not only in physical health but also in confidence and overall wellbeing.

She understands that skin conditions can affect many aspects of life, from self-esteem to day-to-day comfort. Dr Iqra therefore places great importance on listening carefully to her patients and ensuring their concerns are fully understood. Her consultations focus on clear explanations and thoughtful, tailored treatment plans so that patients feel reassured and confident in managing their skin health.

Dr Iqra studied medicine at the University of Manchester and completed her specialist dermatology training in the West Midlands, working across several leading teaching hospitals. Alongside her clinical work, she holds a Master’s degree in Medical Education and contributes to dermatology teaching and research, with publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Her clinical practice includes both adult and paediatric dermatology, with particular interests in acne, pigmentation disorders and dermatology in diverse skin tones. Many patients seek her care for careful assessment and personalised treatment when their skin concerns have been difficult to manage or have had a significant impact on their confidence and quality of life.

Outside of clinical practice, Dr Iqra enjoys baking, learning languages and spending time with her young family.
